Job summary

Deloitte UK in London or Cambridge with hybrid working invites a Director – Infrastructure Lifecycle Tax for Financial Investors. You will lead tax structuring and advisory for UK and international infrastructure and energy investments across the lifecycle.

You will manage high-profile client relationships, work with M&A Partners, coach teams, and drive cross-border opportunities while advancing your technical expertise in a fast‑moving market.

Qualifications

• ACA/CTA or equivalent qualification or experience.
• Exposure to international clients.
• Prior M&A, UK Corporation Tax and infrastructure advisory experience gained in a professional services firm is preferred.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Proven track record in client relationship & stakeholder management.
• Experience of managing diverse teams and collaborating with specialists and other internal teams or external client-side advisers.
• The ability to analyse information, identify issues and prioritise them.

Responsibilities

• Leading the delivery of comprehensive tax structuring and tax advisory services to UK and international infrastructure and energy businesses with over the investment lifecycle, managing a portfolio of high-profile clients and projects.
• Working closely with Infrastructure focussed M&A Partners, owning and managing client relationships and proactively identify solutions for your clients and pursue new business development opportunities by utilising your networks (internal and externally) and market knowledge.
• To have a broader perspective of potential issues encountered when managing diverse teams and the strategies to overcome them; have a clear understanding of the firm’s commitment to creating a more inclusive culture.
• You will be a confident team player and enjoy sharing your knowledge and expertise with others. Supporting the development of team members, acting as a coach and role model, as well as continuing to build your own technical expertise or specialism.
