Job summary

Intelligence Security Laboratories in the United States is seeking an infrastructure engineer to design, deploy, secure, and maintain IT and network infrastructure our organization runs on—from custom LAN and VPN configurations to containerized services and hardened workstations. You will own foundational architecture decisions as we scale in a security-sensitive environment.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of personal or professional Linux systems administration experience.
• A relevant bachelor's degree.
• Deep understanding of computer network concepts.
• Hands-on experience with containerization/virtualization platforms.
• Understanding of the Linux operating system.
• Linux system administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and deploy complex networks including custom LAN and VPN configurations.
• Deploy and monitor various services to be used by employees and associates. (requires intimate knowledge of containerization)
• Build custom operating system and workstation configurations within the network to ensure practical security while maintaining efficient workflows.
• Ensure high availability by maintaining backup systems and recovery procedures.
• Generate and maintain accurate documentation of all systems and configurations.
• Provide support for connectivity and availability problems.
• Collaborate with developers, infrastructure engineers, and other non-technical team members to support a high efficiency, secure workflow.
