Job summary

Bank of America in Chandler, AZ seeks an experienced infrastructure engineer to design and operationalize tooling and automation for large-scale environments. You will lead implementation, review blueprints and playbooks, mentor teams, and collaborate with Production and Development to ensure compliant, efficient solutions and high availability.

Strong scripting, Linux/Unix, and communication are essential.

Qualifications

2–4 years in UNIX/Linux production environments with hundreds of hosts.
4+ years programming in Perl, Python, Bash or C derivatives (C++, Java).
2–4 years of data structures & databases (SQL & NoSQL).
Experience with HSM support (Utimaco and Futurex).
Coordinate with application and infrastructure teams during releases.
Assist with vendor support tickets and on-call production issues.
Experience with troubleshooting production applications.
Excellent written and verbal communication; strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Translate requirements into technical definitions, blueprints and playbooks for deployment.
Review and develop software solutions to reduce manual work and inefficiencies.
Evaluate reference models, blueprints and playbooks; guide on-site evaluations of third-party products.
Mentor infrastructure resources and ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
Define, automate, and maintain data validation and entitlements processes.
Collaborate between Production and Development teams to ensure resilient, low-latency architectures.
