Job summary

Civil Science, Inc. is seeking motivated Infrastructure Interns for Summer 2027.

This internship provides hands-on experience supporting public infrastructure projects while working alongside experienced engineers, technicians, inspectors, and survey professionals. You will contribute to real projects, gain exposure to multiple areas of civil engineering, and learn how infrastructure improvements move from planning and design through construction.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a civil engineering related program.
• Interest in transportation, construction, or public infrastructure.
• Willingness to learn, ask questions, and take ownership.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with MS Office is a plus.
• Ability to pass background and driving-record checks.

Responsibilities

• Support a variety of transportation, municipal, utility, and other public infrastructure projects.
• Assist engineers and project teams with plans, drawings, quantities, and tasks.
• Gain experience using industry software.
• Communicate with project managers, contractors, clients, and team members.
• Travel to project sites as needed.
