CHA Consulting, Inc. is offering Civil Engineering Internships as part of its 2027 Internship Program.

Interns will work with experienced engineers on infrastructure projects across transportation, water, aviation, and more, gaining hands-on experience and learning how civil engineering shapes communities. Successful candidates are pursuing a Civil Engineering degree, enrolled full-time, with at least one year of college completed and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Civil Engineering and enrolled full-time in a nationally accredited program.
• Must have completed at least one year of college before the internship begins; rising sophomores eligible; juniors and seniors preferred.
• May 2027 graduates will not be accepted for CHA’s Internship Program.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office required; AutoCAD experience preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Support civil engineering design, planning, and project development efforts
• Assist with technical calculations, drawings, and project documentation
• Collaborate with engineers and multidisciplinary project teams
• Gain exposure to real-world infrastructure projects across a variety of industries and markets, applying classroom knowledge to projects that help improve mobility, connectivity, sustainability, and resiliency
• Participate in professional development, networking opportunities, and intern program activities
