Job summary

Arcadis seeks a GIS Configuration Specialist to support the Gateway Hudson Tunnel Project (HTP). You will review construction work plans, report on compliance and environmental permits, and ensure GIS/BIM integration across packages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geomatics, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of BIM modeling and GIS configuration for large infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, and Navisworks.
• Familiarity with PMIS platforms and federal transportation project requirements.
• Strong communication and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain GIS databases and BIM models to support project planning, design, and construction phases.
• Ensure alignment between geospatial data and BIM deliverables across all HTP packages.
• Support the development of digital twins and spatial analytics for infrastructure components.
• Collaborate with IT and Technical Support to deploy modeling software and geospatial tools.
• Assist in evaluation and implementation of new technologies to enhance project delivery.
• Maintain documents, track revisions, and support document management workflows.
• Ensure compliance with federal regulations and GDC standards; participate in audits and change orders.
