Job summary

Ares Management Corporation in New York, NY, seeks an Asset Management Associate to support the Investment Team within AIE. The role focuses on portfolio management of investments in a perpetual core infrastructure fund, with emphasis on FP&A, monthly valuation, and performance reporting.

You will collaborate with portfolio counterparties, ensure contract compliance, build financial models, and present analyses to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2–3 years of finance or accounting experience.
• Exposure to valuation methods and power, energy or infrastructure.
• Strong finance and analytical abilities with Excel modeling and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly NAV analyses and NAV forecasts.
• Monitor and report on operational and financial performance vs budget.
• Interface with portfolio counterparties and external partners.
• Monitor loan covenants and Debt Service Coverage Ratios.
• Build fund-level financial models and update projections.
• Prepare and present analyses to internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Investment and FP&A teams to ensure accurate reporting.
