As an Infrastructure Engineer within PNC's Technology organization, you can be based in Pittsburgh PA, Strongsville OH, Dallas TX, Birmingham AL, or Phoenix AZ.
This position is primarily based in a location within PNC's footprint. Responsibilities require time in the office or in a field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities can be performed remotely. Additional locations may be considered.
As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be required to install, configure, test & deploy mainframe system software components across multiple sysplexes; provide technical support to MIS & End Users and coach junior staff. In addition, this position will require general platform support – including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and on-call duties.
Your hours will vary depending on the activities of any given week. Within the day, there will be a varying amount of activity, with a pace set by demands from your service partners as well as business dynamics. In your role, you will draw upon your skills to fulfill opportunities and challenges to problem solve, strategize, and create process improvements.
