Job summary

Patmos Hosting, Inc. is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer – Level 1 to support routine inspection, maintenance, and monitoring of MEP systems in our data centers.

This entry-level role operates under close supervision in a 24/7 environment, gaining hands-on experience with safety protocols and critical site operations. Reporting to the Infrastructure Engineering Manager, you will assist with daily checks, preventive maintenance, alarm responses, and documentation, while learning SOPs, emergency

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily walk-throughs, equipment checks, and system monitoring
• Support preventive maintenance efforts under the guidance of senior staff
• Support response to basic infrastructure alarms under supervision
• Participate in on-the-job training for MEP systems, procedures, and site protocols
• Learn standard operating procedures (SOPs), emergency protocols, and basic troubleshooting
• Follow safety practices including use of PPE, hazard awareness, and lockout/tagout
• Accurately log maintenance activities, site conditions, and any observed issues
• Keep infrastructure spaces organized, clean, and in compliance with safety standards
• Participate in safety training and assist with the upkeep of safety-related records
• Track tool use and inventory; ensure proper handling and return of shared equipment
• Assist with vendor access, escorting, and light on-site coordination as needed

Travel Required: Yes – travel between company-owned sites is required

Role Summary

The Infrastructure Engineer – Level 1 supports the routine inspection, maintenance, and monitoring of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems within our data centers. This is an entry-level role designed for individuals beginning a career in infrastructure operations. Under close supervision, the Level 1 Technician performs foundational tasks while gaining experience with mission-critical systems, safety protocols, and site operations in a 24/7 environment.

Infrastructure Support & Site Operations
