Patmos Hosting, Inc. in Kansas City, MO is seeking a mid-level Infrastructure Engineer to independently manage daily infrastructure operations and lead site-level projects. You will own select systems end-to-end and serve as a primary escalation point for Technician staff.

• Own and maintain assigned MEP systems across one or more sites
• Lead troubleshooting and resolution for infrastructure alerts, alarms, or performance anomalies
• Support root cause analysis and develop solutions for recurring system issues
• Coordinate and lead site infrastructure upgrades, retrofits, and install projects
• Supervise vendors during work execution and ensure compliance with documentation standards
• Review commissioning documentation and contribute to project QA/QC
• Maintain and improve SOPs, inspection protocols, and safety procedures for systems under ownership
• Track maintenance and performance data using internal documentation tools
• Ensure adherence to SOC 2 controls, safety practices, and regulatory standards
• Provide day-to-day support and technical mentorship to Technician staff
• Share knowledge and develop informal training for common systems or tasks
• Participate in EOP drills and infrastructure reliability initiatives

Reports To: Infrastructure Engineer Manager, Kansas City

Status: Full-time, Non-Exempt

Pay Type: Hourly

Travel Required: Yes – travel between company-owned sites is required

Role Summary

The Infrastructure Engineer – Level 2 is a mid-level engineering role responsible for independently managing daily infrastructure operations, supporting complex issue resolution, and leading execution of site-level projects. This role owns select systems end-to-end and serves as a key escalation point for Technician-level staff.
