Nightwing is seeking a Senior System/Network Engineer to lead infrastructure design, deployment, and optimization for our unified solution. You will drive cloud-native architectures, ensure scalability, resilience, and security while collaborating with development teams. Minimum 10 years in system/network engineering, TS/SCI with CI Polygraph, and a U.S.

citizen. Location options include NCR or San Antonio, TX. Leadership, mentoring, and DoD RMF experience are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of system and network engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent substitution.
• Expert knowledge of Kubernetes and container technologies.
• DoD RMF and security requirements familiarity.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph; U.S. citizen required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Kubernetes-based infrastructure.
• Lead network architecture and security implementations.
• Optimize system performance and resource utilization.
• Implement advanced monitoring and observability solutions.
• Design disaster recovery and high availability solutions.
• Lead Infrastructure as Code implementations.
• Troubleshoot complex system and network issues.
• Mentor junior engineers.
• Support security assessments and RMF activities.
• Lead infrastructure-related technical discussions.
