Job summary

Nightwing is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer in Maryland to design, build, and sustain scalable, secure infrastructure. You’ll own container orchestration with Kubernetes and Rancher, manage virtualization with Proxmox and Citrix, and implement robust logging and monitoring across the stack.

You’ll work in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment, applying Linux expertise, networking, and DevSecOps to ensure high availability and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering or related roles.
• Proven experience designing, deploying, and maintaining Kubernetes clusters and container orchestration systems.
• Solid understanding of virtualization technologies and Citrix environments.
• Proficiency with monitoring and observability tools (ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Strong knowledge of Linux-based systems and network administration.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools and scripting (Python, Bash, Terraform).
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, CI/CD workflows, and Git.
