Job summary

TM Floyd & Company in Columbia, SC is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join the Network Change Team. The role focuses on supporting complex, project-driven deployments across a large enterprise environment.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, technically strong, collaborative, and adaptable, able to communicate with peers and partner IT teams while pivoting between multiple priorities and solving complex infrastructure problems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience building or supporting IT infrastructure, including servers and/or networks.
• Hands-on infrastructure engineering experience across server and network environments.
• Experience with Cisco ACI.
• Experience with GitHub supporting SDN.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex infrastructure work within a Deployment Management Methodology (DMM) framework.
• Assess customer requirements and evaluate approved technical solutions.
• Determine infrastructure changes required across servers and networks.
• Develop detailed deployment specification documents for implementation teams.
• Partner with Architecture, Security, Operations, and IT teams.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and effectively manage multiple priorities.
• Support network changes that ensure business applications remain secure, reliable, and operational.

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join a Network Change Team responsible for supporting complex, project-driven infrastructure deployments across a large enterprise environment.

We're looking for someone who is detail-oriented, technically strong, collaborative, and adaptable—someone who can communicate effectively with peers and partner IT teams while pivoting between multiple priorities and solving complex infrastructure problems. This is a hands-on role for an engineer who understands both server and network infrastructure, can evaluate technical solutions, and translate requirements into detailed deployment specifications.

What You'll Do
