The Infrastructure Engineer will join Jack Henry Digital’s Cloud Infrastructure team, playing a key role in onboarding business units to Google Cloud Platform and supporting existing units on Azure. As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will empower engineering teams to build performant, scalable, and secure services related to transactions, payments, deposits, transfers, authentication, and platform integrations. We are looking for someone who can support and replace our Jenkins platform and guide future CI/CD implementations.

Our services are built on Kubernetes containers spanning multiple clouds (Google, Azure, AWS). If you have experience coding (Go, Python, etc.) to deploy infrastructure, automate processes, and understand software development, this is a great opportunity with significant growth potential.

This position can be remote within the U.S. or based at any Jack Henry office. Note: We cannot consider applicants in California. The role requires working during typical business hours in the Central Time Zone.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely, effective, and quality software deployment into production.
• Define standards for software design and deployment; collaborate across teams.
• Develop and support deployment pipelines and tools.
• Design, develop, test, and troubleshoot applications.
• Create technical documentation.
• Evaluate new technologies and contribute to cloud infrastructure.
• Support existing applications from deployment to retirement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• At least 2 years of experience with CI/CD platforms (Argo, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.) in large environments.
• At least 2 years of experience with Terraform, Golang, or Bash scripting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
• Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Advanced Unix/Linux skills.
• Experience with configuration management tools (Chef, Ansible, Puppet).
• Experience with infrastructure migration and large-scale projects.
