About the Role

GHT is seeking a bright and motivated electrical design engineer with a Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET-accredited college or university, with approximately 1-4 years experience in electrical design. Equivalent combinations of education/experience will be accepted; will consider recent graduates with working knowledge of CAD/REVIT.

Candidate must possess the following skills, traits, and credentials:

• Demonstrated proficiency and experience in electrical design for commercial interior projects, including lighting and power circuitry and controls and fire alarm design;
• Working knowledge of building, energy, and green codes;
• Able to work both independently and in a team setting
• Capable of organizing workflow and delegating tasks to others as appropriate.
• Commitment to client satisfaction and responsiveness.
• Motivated to excel and willing to learn;
• Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD (recent releases) is also a must. (Revit is preferred).
• Able to travel to job sites and conduct site visits, including carrying equipment/materials; climbing, sitting, standing, walking, balancing.
• PREFERRED:
  
  • Familiarity with commercial interiors design for office and similar space.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship. GHT participates in E-Verify.
