Quanterix in Billerica, MA is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join the IT team. You will build, maintain, and support enterprise‑level cloud and infrastructure services, applying best practices to ensure high availability, automation, and security.

The role requires collaboration with internal partners and a focus on scalable infrastructure across Windows, VMware, and cloud environments. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of IT infrastructure experience, strong scripting abilities, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in information systems / computer science or related field.
Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure including Windows server administration, VMware, Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and Azure resources.
Scripting and automation experience, system hardening, patching, and security.

Responsibilities

Apply knowledge across infrastructure technologies to support reliable enterprise operations.
Participate in all phases of solution delivery lifecycle from requirements to support.
Establish and manage enterprise hosting solutions, SLAs, and OLAs.
Maintain relationships across IT and advise on technical matters.
Develop implementation plans, scripts, and testing for reliability.
Ensure high availability and performance for mission-critical resources.
Create disaster recovery and business continuity procedures.
Mentor team members on new technologies.
Monitor security and perform quarterly patching.
