Job summary

RoslinCT is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and support robust IT infrastructure for USA operations, combining systems administration with network design and cloud work. You will work closely with teams across the USA and UK to ensure secure, compliant operations.

The role focuses on virtualization, networking, on-premises and cloud integration, and proactive monitoring with incident management in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in systems administration and infrastructure design.
• Strong networking, DNS/DHCP, VPNs and firewall know-how.
• Experience with VMware/Nutanix/AHV or Hyper-V and storage systems.
• Experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
• PowerShell scripting and IaC tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure and support LAN/WAN and firewall rules.
• Administer virtualization platforms and compute/storage resources.
• Manage backups, DR tests and disaster recovery procedures.
• Collaborate on cloud migrations and cost optimization.
• Maintain security, patching and vulnerability remediation.
• Support hybrid identity and Microsoft 365/Intune/Defender.
• Record changes and maintain network diagrams and docs.
