Job summary

Huxley is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to lead the build-out of a modern AWS-based trading infrastructure in New York. You will own the lifecycle of cloud and on-prem hybrid systems, with emphasis on automation, security, and robust observability in a fast-paced trading environment.

You will collaborate with traders, researchers, and risk/compliance teams, driving reliability and performance across front-office operations. This is a ground-up, high-ownership role in Midtown Manhattan.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating AWS-based trading infra.
• Strong automation and scripting capabilities.
• Experience with CI/CD and observability tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and support AWS and hybrid cloud infrastructure.
• Build and maintain infrastructure automation using IaC.
• Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions.
• Manage networking, connectivity, and security across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Automate operational processes through scripting and tooling.
• Partner with trading, quantitative research, risk, and compliance teams.
• Drive infrastructure reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.
