Job summary

Meta is seeking an experienced Public Policy Manager to join our Infrastructure and Energy team in Santa Fe. You will support policy initiatives for data center infrastructure, energy, site selection, and environmental policy, collaborating with cross-functional partners.

The role requires at least a bachelor’s degree in public policy or a related field and 5+ years in energy policy, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and drive strategic initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public policy, economic development, or energy related fields
• 5+ years of experience in energy policy with a focus on supporting business needs
• Experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams and coordinating deliverables across teams
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives
• Ability to work with large cross-functional groups including technical teams

Responsibilities

• Support execution of cross-functional policy initiatives related to data center infrastructure, energy, economic development, site selection and environmental policy
• Identify and track energy and data center policy issues across US states and federal level, consolidating feedback across partners
• Collaborate with internal teams, trade associations, and external consultants to assess impact on Meta data center operations
• Support policy engagement strategies informed by business needs, research and public opinion
• Align internal teams and external partners including trade associations
• Prepare summaries and memos on infrastructure and energy policies to support external engagement and internal alignment
• Support related economic policy issues such as tax and trade as needed
