Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (ABET-EAC Accredited) is required.
• Virginia PE license preferred or ability to obtain Virginia PE.
• Five+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with CAD software.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel for short-term assignments.

Responsibilities

• Performs electrical design and inspection (low/high power distribution, industrial control systems, lighting).
• Prepares contract plans, special provisions, and engineer's estimates.
• Reviews drawings and recommends changes.
• Researches design options and documents findings for Project Managers.
• Role involves a mix of office and field work.
