Job summary

Pearse Partners in New York is seeking a high-caliber Associate for its Infrastructure Credit team. This buy-side role focuses on private credit investments across North America, Europe and beyond, with a hands-on portfolio construction and deal execution remit.

You will build complex financial models (LBO, project finance, DCF), conduct due diligence, prepare IC materials, and monitor covenant performance across a global book, while contributing to investor reporting and sector research.

Qualifications

• Project finance or infrastructure M&A experience.
• Exceptional financial modelling: LBO, project finance, cash flow waterfall, debt structuring.

Responsibilities

• Build complex financial models: project finance, LBO, DCF, cash flow analysis to evaluate infrastructure debt and credit investments.
• Drive deal execution: due diligence, financial and legal documentation review, credit memo and IC materials.
• Conduct sector research across infrastructure sub-sectors tracking policy, technology trends, and competitive dynamics.
• Support portfolio monitoring, performance analysis, and covenant tracking across an active global book.
• Prepare investment committee presentations and investor reporting materials.
