Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects seeks a senior contracts professional to lead procurement strategies and administer complex agreements on large capital programs. You will coordinate with project teams, finance, and suppliers to ensure compliance, cost control and timely delivery across lifecycle stages.

The role requires deep experience in regulated environments, EPC/EPCM contracts and CLM systems, with on-site collaboration at client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Law, or related field.
• 7+ years of contract administration or management experience in large capital projects.
• Experience in regulated industries such as pharma, biotech, labs or semiconductors.
• Understanding of EPC/EPCM contracts and GMP terms.
• Proficiency with CLM systems, SAP, and Autodesk Forma.
• Knowledge of construction law, insurance, warranties, and third-party rights.
• Ability to track budgets, progress and commercial deliverables across phases.

Key Responsibilities

• You’ll support project teams in developing contracting strategies, selecting contract delivery methods, and establishing commercial frameworks aligned with project objectives.


• You’ll lead and support contract procurement activities, including contractor pre-qualification, tendering, scope development, pricing evaluations, and contract negotiations.


• You’ll administer contracts throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring all parties meet contractual obligations, deliverables, and performance expectations.


• You’ll manage contract communications, payment applications, change requests, payment certifications, correspondence, and commercial meetings with contractors and suppliers.


• You’ll maintain contract records, document control systems, and project-specific procedures governing payments, approvals, variations, and contract administration activities.


• You’ll monitor contractor and vendor performance across cost, schedule, risk, quality, ESG, and compliance metrics, supporting audits, inspections, and performance reviews.


• You’ll collaborate with finance, procurement, project controls, consultants, and project teams to validate payments, insurance requirements, bonds, warranties, and contractual compliance.


• You’ll manage contract change processes by maintaining change registers, evaluating variations, assessing time and cost impacts, and coordinating approvals through governance procedures.


• You’ll support dispute avoidance and resolution efforts while fostering strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and key project stakeholders.


• You’ll prepare contract administration reports, support project closeout activities, reconcile contractual obligations, and ensure accurate retention of all final project documentation and records.


• Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Law, or related field


• 7+ years of experience in contract administration or management within large capital projects, supporting pharmaceutical, biotechnology, laboratory, semiconductor, or other regulated industries


• Understanding of pharmaceutical facility design, cleanrooms, laboratory facilities, process equipment, clean utilities, automation systems, and manufacturing support infrastructure


• Strong understanding of industrial contract forms (EPC/EPCM, GMP), terms, and conditions


• Proficiency in Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems, SAP, Autodesk forma


• Knowledge of construction law, insurance, guarantees, warranties, and third-party rights


• Skilled in tracking budgets, progress, and commercial deliverables across project phases
