Infrastructure & Capital Projects - Project Manager

Join us as a Project Manager in the Infrastructure & Capital Projects team at Knowledgent.

Location: This position is based in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Candidates must be willing to relocate or currently reside in Puerto Rico.

We are Industry X, specializing in Infrastructure & Capital Projects. Our mission is to reinvent how capital projects are planned, designed, managed, and executed, helping clients build and upgrade essential infrastructure sustainably and efficiently.

Who You Are

An experienced engineer or project management professional with a strong understanding of engineering documentation, information management, and digital solutions in infrastructure projects. You are proactive, collaborative, and eager to support project teams and develop content for meetings and workshops.

Your Responsibilities
  1. Plan, develop, and implement small-scale, low-complexity projects.
  2. Define project parameters and oversee activities from inception to completion.
  3. Manage project scope, schedule, budget, design, procurement, and construction.
  4. Ensure project adherence to timelines and budgets.
  5. Manage contractor selection and oversee contract execution.
  6. Maintain quality and compliance standards.
  7. Develop standards for project delivery and reporting.
  8. Coordinate procurement and contracting strategies.
  9. Conduct financial forecasting, variance analysis, and controls.
Minimum Requirements
  • B.S. in Engineering, Business Management, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of project management experience in construction, electrical, gas, civil, or IT projects.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP or Agile certification.
  • Experience with electric utility infrastructure projects.
  • Financial analysis skills and business case development.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, P6, or Microsoft Project.
