Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction project management, geology or related discipline.
• 5+ years direct management of large-scale public construction and infrastructure projects with budget accountability.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP).

Responsibilities

• Accept, analyze, and revise initiative ideas and communicate plans for full project execution.
• Assimilate best PM principles to produce cohesive project plans.
• Participate in RFP/bid processes to secure consultants and contractors.
• Track schedules and maintain schedule documents using approved systems.
• Review design packages and influence design and programming plans.
• Coordinate stakeholder reports on regular intervals regarding project status.
• Monitor contractor County workflow and process change orders.
• Schedule meetings and catalog project documents.
• Analyze bridge, IT, construction projects funded by County capital.
