Job summary

CDR Maguire Engineering in Pittsburgh, PA seeks an experienced civil infrastructure leader to manage multiple design projects for Local Public Agency programs. You will oversee contracts, funding, and design reviews, coordinating with PennDOT, FHWA, and utility stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.

The role requires a B.S. in Civil Engineering, 6+ years in design or design management, and strong written and verbal communication. PE is preferred or on the PE track; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in civil engineering is required.
• 6+ years in engineering design or design management.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple design projects for LPAs.
• Manage contracts, funding, designs, and coord with PennDOT/FHWA.
• Coordinate and chair meetings with utility, ROW, PUC, and rail entities.
• Supervise administrative staff.
• Maintain close collaboration with LPA staff.
• Travel as required and attend trainings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
