Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects in Redmond, WA seeks a seasoned construction project manager to monitor compliance, coordinate field inspections, and manage documentation for water and wastewater projects.

You will lead change management, constructability reviews, and contractor performance to ensure safety, schedule, and cost goals are met. A B.S. in Civil Engineering or Construction Management with PE/CCM and 5–8+ years of experience is required.

Qualifications

  • B.S. or higher in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • PE Licensure and/or CCM or able to obtain one within the first year.
  • 5 to 8+ years of experience in construction/project management in the water/wastewater industry, including day-to-day PM, supervising inspections, project docs, change management, estimating, scheduling, and claim mitigation.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, coordinate, and enforce construction compliance with contract documents, safety regulations, and environmental documents.
  • Perform daily field inspections to ensure compliance with approved plans and specs.
  • Coordinate with contractors, clients, and regulatory agencies; identify non-compliant work and remediate.
  • Report critical issues promptly and document all construction activities.
  • Manage office staff for record keeping, correspondence, and reporting; monitor contractor performance and schedule.

THE WORK:
  • You’ll monitor, coordinate, and enforce construction compliance with contract documents, safety regulations, and environmental documents.
  • You’ll perform daily field inspection of construction to ensure compliance with approved plans and specifications.
  • You’ll monitor, coordinate and enforce construction compliance with contract documents and safety regulations and communicate and coordinate effectively with various contractors, entities, clients, and regulatory agencies.
  • You’ll identify non-compliant work and take appropriate action to bring back into compliance.
  • You’ll immediately report critical issues and/or possible delays and monitor and document all construction equipment, personnel, and activities.
  • You’ll occasionally manage office staff responsible for record keeping, general correspondence, compiling and drafting of required reports and deliverables.
  • You’ll monitor contractor performance, schedule, overall responsiveness and effectiveness and perform constructability review of design plans.
  • You’ll exert influence over contractors to maintain project goals regarding cost, schedule, quality, etc., and manage the contractor payment process and recommend appropriate adjustments as necessary to manage the contractor.
  • You’ll maintain an awareness of safety and health requirements and ensure compliance of applicable regulations and contract provisions for the protection of the public and construction project personnel.
  • You’ll ensure all changes and/or modifications are noted on the final plans and perform constructability review of design plans.
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
  • B.S. or higher degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field, or equivalent experience
  • PE Licensure and/or CCM or able to obtain one within the first year
  • 5 to 8+ years of experience in construction/project management in the water/wastewater industry. Experience should include day to day project management, supervising project inspections, project documentation, change management, estimating, scheduling, and claim mitigation

$115,000 - $140,000 a year

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Virginia or Washington as set forth below.
