Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects in California seeks an experienced Construction Manager to coordinate with public agencies and external stakeholders, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure compliance with project objectives in near-water and heavy civil projects.

You will lead contract administration, review submittals, negotiate changes, and drive alignment between teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality infrastructure on time and within budget.

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of experience in Construction Management, specifically in near-water/over-water heavy civil construction projects.
  • BS or BA in Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning, Construction Management or related field or equivalent experience required.
  • Experience coordinating with public agencies and external stakeholders during construction and ensuring compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with public agencies and external stakeholders during construction to ensure compliance with off-site work requirements and project objectives.
  • Manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring deliverables are on time, within budget, and to established quality standards.
  • Support contract administration activities, including bid analysis, pre-construction meetings, award coordination, and contractor communications.
  • Review and evaluate contractors' construction schedules, submittals, schedules of values, and RFIs to ensure project readiness and compliance.
  • Lead coordination between project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure work is performed according to plans, specifications, scope, and cost parameters.
  • Review contractor submittals and obtain responses to RFIs, maintaining accurate logs and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Negotiate change orders with contractors and assess cost and schedule impacts to achieve fair, project-aligned outcomes.
  • Review payment applications and oversee the fiscal management of project resources to support effective project controls and financial stewardship.
  • Coordinate with field inspectors to identify, document, and resolve differing site conditions and construction-related issues.
  • Perform a variety of construction management responsibilities and special assignments as needed to support successful project delivery.

THE WORK:

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
  • 3 -5+ years of experience in Construction Management required, specifically in near-water/over-water,
  • heavy civil construction projects
  • BS or BA in Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning, Construction Management or related field or equivalent experience required
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
  • PE, CCM, EIT, LEED or licensure as an Architect preferred

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
