Google is seeking a Capacity Planner in Sunnyvale to lead cross-functional capacity planning across compute, storage, network, and data center resources. You will translate product demand into infrastructure plans and work with Product, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and Planning teams to align assumptions and investments.

The role emphasizes building an integrated Plan of Record, communicating risks, and delivering clear analyses and executives-ready materials to guide investment decisions

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of program management experience.
• Experience analyzing datasets using spreadsheets, SQL, Python, BI tools, or similar analytic technologies.
• Experience in capacity planning.

Responsabilidades

• Execute recurring and scenario-based infrastructure capacity planning across Product, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and Planning organizations.
• Analyze product demand, infrastructure requirements, capacity constraints, deployment alternatives, planning assumptions, and dependencies to identify gaps, tradeoffs, and planning risks.
• Help develop, reconcile, and publish the infrastructure capacity Plan of Record, ensuring approved demand and capacity decisions are accurately reflected in authoritative planning outputs.
• Partner with Engineering and Planning teams to translate product demand into infrastructure requirements and reconcile planning outputs across compute, storage, network, data center, and supply‑chain domains.
• Prepare clear planning analyses, executive materials, and recommendations that enable timely infrastructure decisions.
