Job summary

CEI is seeking an Infrastructure Planning Analyst in Philadelphia, PA for a contract hybrid role. The candidate will analyze capacity, forecast growth, build models, and automate reporting across cloud and data center environments.

The position requires strong Excel, SQL, Python, and data visualization skills, with preference for cloud or virtualization experience. Hybrid schedule includes 2-4 days onsite, collaborating with infrastructure teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven capacity planning and forecasting experience.
• Strong Excel skills including complex modeling.
• SQL for data analysis and reporting.
• Python for automation and analytics.
• Experience with data visualization tools.
• Experience analyzing utilization, growth, performance, or infrastructure metrics.

Responsibilities

• Analyze infrastructure demand and utilization trends across cloud and data center environments.
• Build and maintain capacity forecasts for compute, storage, network, and virtualization platforms.
• Develop automated reporting, dashboards, alerts, and data models.
• Create forecasting tools used for infrastructure planning and procurement decisions.
• Partner with infrastructure teams to understand future growth requirements.
• Identify utilization risks and provide recommendations for capacity expansion.
• Support budgeting, infrastructure planning, and long-range forecasting initiatives.
• Present capacity data and recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.
