Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Infrastructure Delivery Installation Technician to join our growing team in Chantilly, VA. You will work with minimal supervision to install and maintain large-scale enterprise equipment, cabling, and rack installations, traveling as needed to support regional networks.

This role requires strong technical aptitude, solid communication skills, and the ability to work independently or in teams in a 24/7 operating environment. Prior hardware or cabling experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year in technical or vocational roles such as hardware repair, cabling, or data center ops.
• Certifications such as CompTIA, CCENT, Network+ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move and install large enterprise equipment.
• Install fiber and copper cabling and patching between equipment.
• Ensure safety and security standards during cabling and rack work.
• Follow established hardware installation procedures and break-fix activities.
• Travel within and outside regional work area is required.
