Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an Infrastructure Delivery Installation Technician to join our growing infrastructure operations team. You will install, terminate, and rack large enterprise equipment and cabling, follow safety standards, and work with minimal supervision to help keep our networks running reliably.

The role requires good analytical and communication skills, the ability to work independently or with a team, and willingness to travel within the regional area.

Qualifications

• Fiber optic and copper cabling standards and testing equipment knowledge.
• Knowledge of IT system hardware and network concepts.
• Industry standard certifications (BICSI, CompTIA, CCENT, Network+)

Responsibilities

• Moving and installing large enterprise equipment.
• Installing Fiber and Copper cabling and patching cabling between equipment.
• Ensuring safety and security standards during installation and rack work.
• Following established hardware installation procedures and break-fix activities.
• Safely using material handling tools and equipment.
