Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking an Infrastructure Delivery Installation Technician to join our growing team within infrastructure operations.

You will work with minimal supervision to drive stability and scale, installing and upgrading large enterprise equipment across AWS data centers and networks. You should possess a technical aptitude and strong communication skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team, including on-call and after-hours support as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in hardware repair, infrastructure cabling, network deployment, data center operations or technical project management.

Responsibilities

• Move and install large enterprise equipment.
• Install fiber and copper cabling and patch cabling between equipment.
• Ensure safety and security standards during cabling and rack installation.
• Follow established hardware installation procedures and break-fix activities.
• Safely use material handling tools and equipment.
