Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a Specialist, BU Control within Global Infrastructure Control Governance. The role supports the iPaaT team in pre-audit assessments, identifying gaps, and guiding remediation to minimize audit risk.

You will work with global stakeholders and report to the Director of Infrastructure Control Governance. The candidate should have 8+ years of Internal Audit, 3+ years in Financial Services, and professional IA certifications.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Internal Audit experience.
• 3+ years of experience in Financial Services.
• Experience leading teams of 3+ staff.
• Strong understanding of financial services regulations, risks and controls.
• Internal Audit or Risk certifications (CSIA, CIA, CRISK, etc.).
• Experience at a Big4 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the iPaaT team lead in executing defined objectives.
• Drive improvement of reviewed teams and iPaaT processes.
• Provide reporting on current state and present status to Infrastructure teams.
• Support team objectives with minimal oversight.
• Assess design and operating effectiveness of processes and controls for Infrastructure functions.
• Develop strong relationships with stakeholders globally and ensure timely deliverables.
