Job summary

Assurit seeks an IT Audit Remediation Analyst to drive remediation activities across technology processes and systems. This role requires coordinating with control owners, auditors, and system teams to surface risks and ensure timely closure of audit findings.

The candidate will develop remediation plans, validate new controls, and prepare governance updates. A security certification and experience with NIST/FISCAM principles are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT audit remediation or related roles.
• Certification: CISA, CISSP, or similar required.
• Experience coordinating remediation plans and CAPs with audit teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate remediation activities to address audit findings and control gaps across technology processes and systems.
• Develop practical remediation plans with owners and timelines.
• Validate that new controls are designed effectively and operating as intended.
• Prepare status updates and dashboards for leadership and governance forums.
• Assist with data quality and testing for control implementations.
• Support external audits and coordination with auditors.
