Job summary

Wipro in Las Vegas, Nevada is seeking a seasoned Nutanix Specialist to lead and implement Nutanix-based infrastructure solutions. The role requires extensive hands-on Nutanix experience and a track record in architecture, migration, operations, and optimization.

The candidate will oversee design, deployment, lifecycle management, and automation tasks across datacenter, edge, and hybrid cloud environments. VMware-to-Nutanix migrations and runbook creation are key responsibilities in this role.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Infrastructure, Virtualization, and Cloud platforms with at least 4+ years of hands-on Nutanix experience.
• Lead technical Nutanix-based infrastructure solutions, including architecture, migration, operations, optimization, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain Nutanix HCI clusters.
• Manage Nutanix Prism Central and Prism Element environments.
• Perform cluster lifecycle management, upgrades, patching, and firmware updates.
• Lead VMware to Nutanix AHV migration initiatives.
• Execute migration assessments, discovery, and workload dependency analysis.
• Work with migration tools such as Nutanix Move and automation platforms.
• Create HLDs, LLDs, implementation plans, and operational runbooks.
• Design scalable HCI solutions for datacenter, edge, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Support security, DR, backup, and compliance requirements.
• Integrate Nutanix with monitoring, backup, security, and ITSM tools.
• Automate infrastructure tasks using PowerShell, Python, Ansible, or REST APIs.

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $100,000 to $200,000 .

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
