Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Engineer with an active Secret clearance for our Beavercreek, OH office. The role focuses on integrating an infrared threat simulation into a multispectral few-on-few engagement environment using a C++ based simulation platform.

You will collaborate with engineers and government/contractor teams to design, implement, and test tools for the broader multispectral simulation, while developing software and preparing government-facing documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, CE, EE or related field with 2+ years of experience or MS degree
• Experience with C++, Linux and modeling & simulation (M&S) techniques
• Excellent English-language written and verbal communication; strong writing ability

Responsibilities

• Integrate infrared threat simulation into a multispectral, C++ based environment
• Collaborate with engineers and scientists on tasking and design
• Work with government and contractor personnel
• Design, implement, and test tools supporting the multispectral simulation
• Test, evaluate, and provide feedback to the development team and partners
• Develop, code, and test software and prepare required documentation
