Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. The successful candidate will develop, upgrade, and integrate models of threat systems in the air domain alongside engineers and scientists.

Responsibilities include MATLAB/Simulink modeling, integrating into a large real-time C++ simulator, and collaboration with government and contractor teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or MS degree in CS, CE, EE or related field with 2+ years of experience.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink.
• Experience with modeling and simulation techniques.
• Excellent English-language written and verbal communication.
• Strong writing ability.
• Ability to work with technical teams of engineers and scientists.

Responsibilities

• Model air-based system models using MATLAB/Simulink.
• Integrate models into a large real-time C++ based simulation environment.
• Collaborate with government and contractor personnel.
• Review intelligence data to drive modeling decisions.
• Test and evaluate models prior to customer submission.
• Prepare model test and interface documentation.
