Job summary

JPMorgan Chase in Seattle is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to join the Infrastructure Platforms team. You will apply deep expertise in hardware, networking, storage, deployment, automation, and performance to deliver resilient infrastructure, guide projects, and drive modernization initiatives.

You will work with cross-functional teams, review AI-assisted recommendations, ensure security and auditability, and help shape the company’s infrastructure strategy while fostering an inclusive,

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in infrastructure engineering with 5+ years of applied experience.
• Deep knowledge of infrastructure topics (hardware, networking, storage, deployment, automation).
• Experience with cloud infrastructure across public/private clouds.
• Ability to review AI-assisted recommendations for resiliency and security.

Responsibilities

• Applies technical expertise to infrastructure projects of moderate scope.
• Drives workstreams or projects involving infrastructure technologies.
• Architects and implements changes with cross-platform collaboration.
• Develops design documentation and performs technical troubleshooting.
• Considers data and system implications and advises mitigations.
