Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to join the Infrastructure Platforms team in Seattle.

You will apply deep knowledge of software, applications, and processes within infrastructure engineering to shape scalable, secure network architectures across public clouds. You will lead design reviews, drive governance, mentor engineers, and partner with security, platform, and application teams to meet availability and compliance goals, using AI-assisted tooling for analysis

Qualifications

• 5+ years of infrastructure engineering experience.
• Strong cloud networking and enterprise design experience in regulated environments.
• Hands-on with Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage risk.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end cloud networking architecture across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Define reusable network architecture standards and reference designs for customer-facing and internal solutions.
• Collaborate with application, platform, security, and infrastructure teams to meet availability, performance, resiliency, and security requirements.
• Translate business requirements into secure, production-ready architecture blueprints and implementation plans.
• Own technical risk management for cloud networking and solution architecture domains.
• Drive remediation of audit, regulatory, cybersecurity, and control findings with evidence collection and stakeholder reporting.
• Establish architecture guardrails and policy-as-code controls to reduce operational risk.
• Support major incident response and problem management for network-related outages.
• Mentor engineers and architects, promote engineering excellence, and contribute to roadmap planning and governance.
• Uses enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate infrastructure analysis and design documentation.
