Job summary

E Source is seeking a Solution Architect to assess, design, and implement network and infrastructure systems behind technical and OT projects for utilities in the US and Canada. You’ll collaborate with program managers and technical teams to shape networks, servers, databases, and workstations into cohesive, secure solutions.

This role favors someone who bridges IT infrastructure, network architecture, and OT security, delivering clear, actionable results that support real-world energy

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in solution or infrastructure architecture.
• Experience designing and troubleshooting enterprise networks.
• Strong understanding of routing, switching, firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, and monitoring.
• Experience with servers, databases, applications, and virtualization.
• Ability to translate requirements into architectural designs and docs.
• Experience supporting legacy and modern tech with integration needs.

Responsibilities

• Assess current network design and recommend changes.
• Review architecture docs remotely and gather topology info onsite.
• Identify gaps, legacy systems, and technical debt across environments.
• Translate requirements into architectural blueprints and document work.
• Support design and implementation for cybersecurity and OT networks.
• Develop architecture diagrams, network drawings, and implementation plans.
• Provide onsite or remote support during testing, cutover, and handoff.
