Job summary

Paycom seeks an Infrastructure & Operations Manager to lead IT systems and DevOps engineers, ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure across servers and cloud platforms. You will own capacity planning, patching, backup/recovery, monitoring, and disaster recovery exercises while reducing technical debt.

You will coordinate major incidents, drive RCA, changes, and maintenance windows, and ensure SOC 2 controls and evidence readiness.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of infrastructure, systems administration, cloud operations, or technology ops experience.
• Experience leading technical staff, projects, vendors, or priorities.
• Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure incl. servers, networks, cloud, backup/recovery, monitoring, security standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT systems and DevOps engineers; set priorities and on-call/escalation.
• Own infrastructure availability, patching, backup/recovery, monitoring, and technical debt.
• Coordinate incidents, RCA, changes, DR exercises, and maintenance windows.
• Ensure SOC 2 control compliance and evidence expectations.
• Maintain runbooks, diagrams, inventory, standards, and recovery docs.
• Manage vendors, licensing, costs, and service performance.
