Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a seasoned Infrastructure Engineer to drive AI-enabled infrastructure workstreams and optical transport initiatives.

You will design, deploy, operate, and troubleshoot DWDM/ROADM/OTN solutions and own end‑to‑end project delivery with change control governance. The role requires 5+ years in infrastructure engineering, strong AI utilization, and expertise in data centers, DC power, and optics standards.

Qualifications

5+ years infrastructure engineering experience.
Experience using enterprise AI capabilities in engineering workflows.
Knowledge of data centers, racks, and DC power.
Strong validation, resiliency and security focus.

Responsibilities

Use enterprise AI to analyze infrastructure and document design, validating outputs and handling sensitive data.
Apply AI-assisted practices to identify recurring issues and validate remediation options with traceability.
Design, deploy, operate and troubleshoot optical transport services (DWDM, ROADM, 400G OTN).
Lead change execution and documentation per change control policies.
Provide L3/L4 escalation support and participate in on-call rotation; drive RCAs.
Maintain runbooks, perform capacity planning, and manage platform lifecycle upgrades.
