Job summary

K Health in New York City is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own and evolve the cloud infrastructure underpinning a healthcare AI platform. You will design and operate GKE-based Kubernetes environments, build Terraform modules, and drive GitLab CI/CD pipelines, with on-call rotation and a hybrid work model.

The role emphasizes mentoring, security/compliance aligned with HIPAA, and collaboration across product and engineering teams in a high-ownership setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps or SRE roles with hands-on cloud infra experience.
• Deep Kubernetes experience (Helm, Helmfile, ArgoCD, Kyverno, cert-manager, NGINX Ingress).
• Strong GCP skills (GKE, Cloud SQL, Memorystore, IAM, Workload Identity).
• Solid Terraform architecture and automated testing practices.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Go; GitLab CI/CD expertise.

Responsibilities

• Own design and evolution of Kubernetes infrastructure across environments.
• Build and maintain Terraform modules with automated tests.
• Develop and maintain GitLab CI/CD templates and pipelines.
• Manage self-hosted infra components (GitLab, ArgoCD, NGINX Ingress).
• Ensure security/compliance controls (SOC2/HIPAA, secrets management).
• Lead DR planning, runbooks, and failover testing; mentor engineers.
