Job summary

CGS in New York seeks an Infrastructure Engineer to build and scale the foundational platform powering its AI agents. This role focuses on infrastructure‑first engineering, designing core systems with IaC, Terraform, AWS, and secure enterprise deployments across complex environments.

You'll own cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, RBAC/SSO, and observability, while collaborating with product and security teams to meet reliability and compliance needs.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Terraform in production.
• Strong AWS knowledge across compute, IAM, VPCs, networking.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to solve unfamiliar, complex engineering problems.
• Proven ownership and ability to communicate technical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS and Terraform.
• Design scalable, reliable, secure infrastructure for AI agent platform.
• Develop platform capabilities: code search, indexing, agent orchestration.
• Create automated deployment pipelines across multiple customer AWS accounts.
• Implement RBAC, SSO, auditing and data residency for enterprise needs.
• Support cloud and on-prem deployments and troubleshoot connectivity.
• Improve CI/CD, infrastructure automation, monitoring and observability.
• Collaborate with customer IT/security teams and drive security/compliance.
