Job summary

Structured AI in New York is seeking an experienced infrastructure engineer to own the execution platform for AI agents that analyze construction drawings and CAD models. You will ensure fast, secure sandboxed execution and scale the worker fleet and LLM traffic layer.

You’ll ship code (Python, FastAPI) alongside product engineers and steward CI/CD, the self-hosted runner fleet, and incident response. This is a founding role focused on containers and isolation, with office presence in the

Qualifications

• 3+ years of production cloud infrastructure experience.
• Experience isolating workloads in production (containers, microVMs, or Linux sandboxing).
• Strong container experience with Container Apps, ECS, AKS, EKS, or similar.
• Ownership of infrastructure as code and CI/CD end to end.
• Production Postgres and Redis experience; on-call experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the execution platform that runs AI agents, ensuring fast, secure sandboxed execution.
• Scale the worker fleet from zero to hundreds of jobs per project.
• Manage the LLM traffic layer with multi-tenant, metered usage and customer billing.
• Ensure streaming for chat and progress updates across deployments.
• Oversee the document pipeline (rendering, OCR, extraction for large PDFs).
• Drive CI/CD, self-hosted runner fleet, and incident response.
