Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an Infra Cost Leader to streamline cost management, lead a cross-functional team, and drive cost controls across facilities. The role reports to Infra Innovation Ops and collaborates with engineering, manufacturing, and support groups to ensure compliance and timely delivery.

The position emphasizes project leadership, data-driven decision making, and routine reporting to executives.

Qualifications

• BS degree required in Engineering or related field.
• Semiconductor manufacturing experience required; 5+ years preferred.
• Project management skills required; formal training preferred.
• Senior Engineer or higher (Internal SASC candidates).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with S2 Infra departments to improve metrics.
• Collect data and analyze cost metrics; drive savings.
• Participate in TFTs activities to improve cost processes.
• Ensure compliance with external and internal specifications.
• Lead cross-functional, large-scale projects with executive visibility.
• Provide cost-focused recommendations for process improvements.
• Communicate analysis results to peers, managers and executives.
• Manage CIP work opportunities and project reporting.

Position Summary

This position is for our Austin Infra Cost Leader in Infra Innovation Ops. This team is focused on streamlining processes, controlling budgets, facilitating contracts, monitoring and analyzing expense data, working across infra departments to consolidate findings and vendor compliance for the all cost process as it relates to S2 (Austin). As a Manager / TR, they would lead this team to work together to facilitate processes and troubleshoot issues relating to Cost Management.

Role and Responsibilities

• Datacollection,analysis,andcollaborativeimprovementsofS2CostmetricsincludingInvoicingTAT,OntimePayment,SystemUtilization,rulescompliance,expensecontrol,promotionofsavingsandothers.
• ParticipateandManageTFTsactivitiestoimproveCostprocesses
• CollaboratewithInfraEngineering,manufacturing,SisterFabs,supportgroups,andexecutivestoensurecompliancetoexternalandinternalspecificationsandguidance.
• Leadthedeploymentofmediumtolarge-scaleprojectsthatarecross-functionalinnatureandhavevisibilitytocompanyexecutives
• Analyzeandmakerecommendationstohelpimprovecostcontrolfocusingonmajorandminorindicesforeachsub-department’sprocessesandprograms
• Communicatetheresultsofanalysis,driveimprovementsandsharewithpeers,managers,andexecutives.

The current base salary range for this role is between $106,000 - $145,000. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.

This position may include access to controlled information or technology under U.S. export control laws.
