Job summary

LG Electronics USA is seeking a Validation Engineer contractor to validate infotainment/telematic products, collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams, HQ teams, and customers to launch projects. Responsibilities include defect logging, test case creation, data review, and reporting.

The role emphasizes a service-oriented mindset, learning from experts, and driving results across North America and other regions, including Korea. Travel up to 30% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% (Domestic & International).
• Knowledge of test bench and vehicle setup.
• Knowledge of in-car infotainment systems technologies.
• Ability to analyze test results.
• Experience interfacing with bug tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform validation for infotainment/telematic products by utilizing test benches and vehicles.
• Execute basic Sanity, customer found issues, updated specifications and full test cases.
• Analyze test results to determine if product meets specifications.
• Create/maintain test cases per product specifications.
• Utilize tracking system to report and track product defects.
• Test bench setup and software updates.
• Field Test / Joint field test with OEM.
• OEM Support with frequent visiting and updates.
