Job summary

LG Electronics, Inc. in California is seeking a Development Engineer II Contractor to perform MNO/Carrier certification testing for cellular-connected automotive products and to support certification milestones, including creating test plans and documenting results.

You will collaborate with development teams, certification labs, and carriers to resolve issues, perform root-cause analysis, monitor progress, and ensure deliverables and product launch readiness on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in wireless communications, telematics, connectivity solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform MNO certification testing and validation activities for cellular-connected automotive products.
• Support carrier certification processes by preparing test plans, executing test cases, and documenting results.
• Investigate network, modem, software, and system issues identified during certification testing and support root cause analysis.
• Work closely with development teams, certification labs, and carriers to resolve certification-related issues.
• Monitor certification milestones and provide regular status updates on testing progress and issue closure.
• Support compliance with carrier requirements and ensure certification deliverables are completed on schedule.
• Maintain technical documentation, test reports, and issue tracking records.
• Support product launch readiness activities related to carrier and connectivity certifications.
