Job summary

Stellantis is seeking an Automotive Validation Engineer in Michigan with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in infotainment validation and testing. You will validate infotainment systems, develop test cases, and perform comprehensive system-level testing to ensure high-quality product performance.

Responsibilities include defect tracking, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and validating software releases across vehicle platforms.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in Automotive Validation/Testing.
• Strong automotive domain knowledge.
• Knowledge of Bluetooth, USB, CarPlay, Android Auto, Navigation, Audio systems.
• Experience with CAN tools such as CANoe/CANalyzer preferred.
• Knowledge of CAN/LIN protocols preferred.
• Experience with defect tracking tools like Jira/ALM/Bugzilla.
• Strong debugging and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform validation and testing of Automotive Infotainment Systems including Radio, Navigation, Bluetooth, Connectivity, Audio, Display, and HMI features.
• Develop, execute, and maintain test cases based on system requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system-level testing.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
• Work closely with development teams, system engineers, and cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
• Validate software releases and support vehicle-level testing.
• Analyze logs, trace files, and test results for root cause analysis.
• Ensure compliance with automotive quality standards and validation processes.
• Participate in test planning, status reporting, and quality reviews.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in validating automotive infotainment systems, testing features, and ensuring high-quality product performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform validation and testing of Automotive Infotainment Systems including Radio, Navigation, Bluetooth, Connectivity, Audio, Display, and HMI features.

• Experience in CAN tools like CANoe / CANalyzer is preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle communication protocols: CAN, LIN preferred.
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira / ALM / Bugzilla.
• Strong debugging and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with OEMs / Tier-1 automotive clients.
• Exposure to Agile methodology.
• Understanding of software validation lifecycle.
