Job summary

Insitu seeks an experienced Information Security Analyst (Risk Management) for a 12-month contract based in Bingen, WA with remote location flexibility. The role focuses on protecting enterprise systems through risk management, compliance oversight (including NIST 800-171), security testing and monitoring, and incident response support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field plus 5+ years of information security experience, or a Master's with 3+ years.
• Strong knowledge of governance, risk, and compliance in information security.
• Experience with NIST 800-171, DFARS, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
• Experience configuring and managing firewalls and security safeguard systems.
• Background in penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and threat monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and upgrade network and information security controls.
• Assess security needs and develop risk-mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate security architecture, apps, and ongoing infrastructure maintenance.
• Conduct risk assessments and test systems for vulnerabilities.
• Develop and manage firewalls and other security technologies; monitor system logs.
